Well in truth, the simple answer is it doesn't matter. Money matters.
Have you ever seen Activision bother to ask anyone via their site. They could do that.
Lag compensation is at an all-time high. Showing me that they want even more noobs to join and experience a good game where possible. damn I seen a 3 yr old kid kill someone on MW2 I even got it on my phone recorded and am pretty sure it's on my Youtube. (neildee250) Rate comment whatever!
My point is that they have pushed the hardcore gamer to the limit. You get nothing from them unless it's in advance whatsoever. Take ELITE, YES it's good but in all honesty, we had to pay in advance, get one map at a time, barely go on them cos no-one else has them. Wrong or right?
Not once have I been publically put on the new 'Overwatch' map have you seen it online?
Technically, I believe we are paying for a map we will never see before general release apart from the 1 private match we all create to run round and 'feel' it out. Again am I wrong?
For years, Activision has been bombarded about recovering and returning to the 'Dedicated Servers' that C.O.D used to have but we see nothing appear.
Just so we are clear, it's not about Lag Compensation (Latency) there is no real reason, we just want it. Have we achieved it? No. Will we next game? No.
Activision made a crap load of money last year, it has never gone down, it only goes up.

The only realistic way gamers are going to get Activision to do all these things is via an online petition. Simple.
No, I haven't made one. I sit in the background promoting and putting crap down, that's not my job.
Looks like the recession has created 1 job in 2012.
