The Kickstarter drive isn’t over yet, as the GameStick has proven. The crowd-funding service has become prevalent in the past 12 months and the team over at GameStick have become another Kickstarter success by reaching their cash target of $100,000, within the first 30 hours of the campaign’s lifespan.
Last Friday, the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection made its way over to the PlayStation Vita. I’m sure many who grew up with the series were eager to try these games out on their Vitas – which have been lacking some killer software.

Since launch, the PS Vita has been lacking a bit in the games department. A handful of titles have come out after it dropped on the 22nd February, but nothing that can be seen as the killer app. Today is no different, but…at least it’s something. Skype have announced, through the PlayStation Blog, that Skype Video and Voice calling will be available on the PS Vita through the Skype app, which will be free.
